New 58,300 square foot warehouse addition to the existing facility consisting of metal roof deck on open web steel joists and joist girders supported on tube steel columns and site cast, tilt-up concrete wall panels. Since the roof height of the new addition exceeds that of the existing facility, insulated metal panels (IMP) were used installed above the existing roof to close off the new addition.
A detached 11,500 square foot fleet maintenance building was also constructed of metal roof deck on open web steel joists and joist girders supported on tube steel columns and site cast, tilt-up concrete wall panels.
Both structures are founded on a shallow concrete foundation system.
